The tea ceremony was proudly hosted by Welcome House Japanese Language School on Tuesday 8th July and held at the former
private residence of Takeshiro Nagayama, the second director of the Hokkaido Agency.
This special event featured a traditional Japanese tea-making demonstration. Students
first observed a classical tea ceremony and were then invited to participate by making tea themselves.
The event was thoroughly enjoyable for everyone.
Special thanks to the instructors of Welcome House Japanese Language School and the students
of the Urasenke Sado School for their kind assistance in making this a truly enjoyable and meaningful event.
